[Get the look] Ashley at the Breaking Dawn Premiere in LA
December 3, 2011

The always stunning Ashley Greene wowed the crowd at the Twilight premiere when she stepped out in this custom gown designed by Donna Karan. While the actress is most well known for her role as the undead Alice Cullen, she livened up the red carpet in this sexy red lace number and matching red lipstick and nail polish. A sole black and gold ring was the only piece that broke up the monochromatic palette.

Cop a similar look with a red lace cocktail dress that also wows but is a little more fun and wearable for upcoming holiday parties. We gave you two dress options depending on your style. The Tibi Lace Dress is short and sweet, while the floor length Blush Dress is more glamourous. Red lips and lacquered nails are a smart, low cost way to accessorize and look glam especially when finished with a sparkly gold ring

Get Ashley Greene’s red carpet style with our picks:

1. Tibi Imperial Lace Dress, Piperlime, $398.00 – A cute cocktail version of Ashley’s custom gown is perfect for a flirty boost to your party.

2. Blush Dress, Promgirl, $258.00 – For a longer option, this floor length gown has the same elegant simplicity.

3. Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lipstick, Ulta, $5.99 – Red lipstick adds a classic pop to your style.

4. Black And Clear Crystal Ring Set, Max & Chloe, $60.00 – A classic black and crystal ring is stylish, but subtle.

Twilight Convention in Los Angeles (November 5, 2011)
November 6, 2011

HollywoodLife.com gives you an inside look at the The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part One convention at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Culver City, Calif. First up, the Cullen family panel with Elizabeth Reaser, Peter Facinelli, Ashley Greene and Jackson Rathbone.
*(Disclaimer: this isn’t an exact transcription!)

After working together for four years, what bugs you about each other?

Ashley: Everyone is perfect.

Favorite place to film:

Ashley: Italy. It was so amazing. The food was so good.

Peter: I liked Squamish.

Elizabeth Reaser: I loved Portland.

How was it working with Mackenzie?

Peter: I thought she was so talented. I mean, it was her first gig right? She was one of the most professional people I ever worked with. She wore the contacts and didn’t complain. I was so impressed by her natural ability.

Jackson: Peter’s a lot like Carlisle. He’s the rock of the Cullen family and the rock of our family.

Elizabeth: I think Peter is most like his character.

Peter: Thank you!

Any scene in the movie that only took one take?

Peter: No.

Jackson: Our dance scene only took three takes!

Peter: The camera you have to picture is this big elaborate camera move. Then they go to Jackson doing a flip and they were supposed to go to us just smiling. But I was like, ‘I want to dance!’ They landed on me and I tried to spin her. But she didn’t expect it so it was messy.

Elizabeth: It was a really elaborate shot. It was really early in the morning and it was like our last scene.

Peter: Carlisle has moves man!

Did you keep any parts of your costume?

Ashley: I kept my original Alice necklace.

Peter: I tried to keep my ring but then they asked for it back.

What was the last scene?

Ashley: It was cold. And we were tired. It was really nice to wrap everyone together.

Elizabeth: That was our first wrap. But then we had our second unit.

Elizabeth: Peter and I were wrapping at the exact same time. We had this epic hug. We were excited and sad and excited.

Peter: It was nice. Awww…

What’s your favorite book from the Saga?
Ashley: My favorite was Twilight. It’s what got me obsessed with the series.

Elizabeth: Me too.

Jackson: Eclipse. That scene…I really liked learning about my character and where Jasper came from. I really had to study that chapter.

Peter: I liked Eclipse because of the action stuff and that was kind of fun to read.

Have you seen Breaking Dawn yet?
Elizabeth: It’s off the charts amazing.
Peter: It feels like it’s own movie. This one feels like it has a beginning, middle and an end. It’s like it’s own meal. I can’t wait for you guys to see it!

What was it like working with Bill Condon?
Jackson: It’s been so rewarding. Bill has this amazing old Hollywood aesthetic. You really feel that love between Edward and Bella. Everything else melts away except these two characters and [their love].

Any family members Twilight fans?
Elizabeth: Gotta be. If they aren’t they are lying.

Upcoming projects?
J: So no one knows I’m part of a band called 100 Monkeys? [cheers]. I have a production company and record company. I’m really getting involved in creating projects. I’m going to get behind the camera and do my first little job directing [ a short film I wrote].

A: Early next year I signed on to do a film that is a dark twist on Oliver Twist.

E: I have a movie coming out next month called Young Adult. I have another movie written and directed by Josh Radner from HIMYM.

P: I’m going to be dressing like a girl and doing birthday parties, weddings, bat mitzvahs.

J: My birthday is coming up…

P: You’re going to get me for free. No, I’m doing some work with Nurse Jackie.

Most memorable fan encounter
P: This one.
J: It always makes me really happy to see fan inspired artwork or fan fiction. To me the most beautiful aspect of being apart of this series is how much you all love it. And not just the movies, but with each other. You have an amazing community you’ve created around the entire world. That’s amazing. If it wasn’t for you, we wouldn’t be here!

Are you close off screen?

A: We’ve become like a family. In this industry it’s really hard to find.
E: These are the types of relationships [you can’t create.] It bonded us in a way that’s so unique and will probably be live long.
P: You really feel like that how family is…you might not see them for awhile but then when you do, you pick up right where you left off.

And here are some fan pictures 🙂

The ‘Twilight’ actress has debuted some pretty stunning red carpet looks while promoting ‘Breaking Dawn,’ but this one has to be one of her best yet!
Celebrity makeup artist Vanessa Scali tells you how to recreated Ashley Greene‘s Breaking Dawn Paris premiere look.
Check out the how-to!

“Ashley’s look was inspired by her Givenchy dress, which was classic with an edge,” explains Vanessa. “Therefore, we went for a classic face with a touch of rock star sultry on the eyes.”

Ashley, a mark cosmetics spokesmodel, wore solely mark products.

Face:

“I prepped Ashley’s face by applying mark For Goodness Face Antioxidant Skin Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 all over her skin, followed by mark Light Bright Lighten & Depuff Eye Gel under her eyes. After creating a fresh, hydrated canvas, I applied mark Xpert Flawless Touch Makeup, blending it in with my fingers. Next, I used mark Conceal For Real Long-Lasting Hook Up Concealer around Ashley’s eyes. To warm up her skin tone and compliment her bone structure, I added mark Bronze Pro Bronzing Powder to her temples, under her cheekbones and her jaw line.”

Cheeks:

“For a soft, healthy flush, I used mark Good Glowing Custom Pick Powder Blush in Sun Love Glo on the apples of Ashley’s cheeks and blended outward. Then, I used a touch of mark Glowdacious Illuminating Powder on the peak of her cheekbones and on her brow bones to give her skin a luminous glow.”

Eyes:

“I started by applying mark I-Mark Custom Pick Eye Shadow in Minx to Ashley’s lid, blending just over the natural crease and extending outward to open and elongate her eyes. I continued with this shadow under her bottom lashes. To intensify her depth of color and elongate Ashley’s lash line, I lined her eyes with mark No Place To Run Longwear Eye Liner in Jet Set.”
“I applied this liner in a bolder, more graphic way above her lashes and smudged the line under her bottom lashes for a soft, sultry look. For maximum color depth, I used mark On The Edge Hook Up Liquid Eyeliner in Cleo at the base of her upper lashes. I finished Ashley’s look by applying mark Lash All You Want Mascara in Black to frame her eyes with gorgeous, fringy lashes.”

Brows:

“I used mark Brow Factor Hook Up Clear Brow Gel to create clean, well groomed brows.”

Lips:

“For a hint of color and shine, I used mark Totally Balmed SPF 15 Tinted Lip Balm in Totally Cute.”

Ashley Greene’s makeup artist tells you how to get her warm, bronzey look!

How gorgeous did Twilight star Ashley Greene look at the Nylon Young Hollywood party at LA’s Roosevelt Hotel on May 12, 2010? Her heavily lined eye and pretty, golden skin were totally chic and surprisingly easy for you to recreate. “The strong liner makes this look interesting and the sheer, nude skin tones make it uncomplicated,” says celebrity makeup artist Vanessa Scali who created Ashley’s stunning look. “Easy elegance is always timely.”

To hydrate and prep Ashley’s skin, Vanessa used Moisture Bound Refreshing Hydra-Gel by Amore Pacific. “It’s a moisturizer that doubles as my favorite skin primer,” she says.
After evening out her skin with a bit of foundation and concealer, Vanessa got to adding some warmth to Ashley’s face. “I used Soleil Tan De Chanel Bronzing Makeup Base and a touch of NARS Orgasm on the cheekbones,” she says.

For her eyes, Vanessa used NARS Cream Shadow in Corfu all over the lid. Then, “to define and elongate the lash line, I used Givenchy’s Magic Khol Eye Liner Pencil in Black,” she says. A healthy dose of Lancôme’s Hypnose Drama mascara in black finished off her stunning eye.

To complement her tawny skin and bold liner, Vanessa used a mix of Bobbi Brown’s Lip Gloss in Beige and Shu Uemura’s Gloss Unlimited 952s on her pout.
